All my Yoga With Julie classes are suitable for any level, male or female, and
options are always offered to make movements more comfortable or more challenging.

Yoga is particularly good for physical muscular tightness/stiffness/injury,
or mental stress/pressure.

Types of Yoga Classes

Flow Yoga

Classes are 70 minutes.

An uplifting Yoga & Pilates class to music, with emphasis on transitioning in and out of poses, to create flowing movements that build awareness and warmth. Focus then moves to balance, joint stability, whole body strength and flexibility. Finishing with meditation to balance energy and mood, leaving you feeling positive & relaxed. Options are offered to make movements more comfortable or more challenging.

Yoga

Classes are 60/70 minutes.

A slower and more mindful Hatha based practice. You are guided to focus on sensations that you feel, and to allow these to guide you through the class. Becoming familiar with your body helps develop your awareness, comfort & confidence. Flexibilities warm & prepare the body for a peak sequence which develops over 4 weeks, allowing you to become familiar with the sequence and to develop, or deepen your practice. Finishing with meditation to balance and unwind, both your mind & body.

Holistic Yoga

Classes are 90 minutes.

A deeper focus on the holistic approach of yoga, in small class sizes to create a nurturing experience. Time is taken to focus within and develop an awareness of the subtle body (Koshas). Flexibilities and Asanas (poses) assist with mobility & strength, while Restorative poses and Pranayama (breath focus) help balance and restore both mind and body. Leaving you feeling relaxed and rejuvenated for the day ahead.

Yoga Nidra

Classes are 70 minutes.

Your body is propped in supported Savasana and covered to maintain body heat. Your awareness is guided through your body, sensations and experiences. This process activates alternating right and left sides of the brain, balancing and slow down brain frequency, allowing the body to deeply relax while the mind stays inwardly aware. Yoga Nidra is also called Yogic sleep and studies have also shown a single hour of Yoga Nidra is as restful as four hours of convention sleep.

Prenatal Yoga

Classes 70 minutes

Our focus is on an holistic approach, including breath work to help with childbirth, pelvic floor work for support and recovery. With movements to mobilise joints and increase circulation, strength work to help stabilise around the pelvis & to support your body through labour, as well as restorative poses & meditation to nurture and nourish both body and mind.

Classes sizes are kept small & intimate to help with the group connection and nurturing feel of each class.

One-to-One Tuition

Classes are 70/90 minutes

Private Yoga One-to-One tuition is an excellent option for clients who wish to focus solely around your specific needs, requirements or injuries. A consultation prior to your class will give Julie enough information to design a class plan that is unique to you. 

Private tuition bookings are taken directly by Julie, with days and times mutually agreed upon prior to confirmation of your booking.
